Laser Edge Banding Machine

Our company has 8 years of experience. Our factory covers 4,000 square meters, and we have our own R&D team. This laser edge banding machine is designed for high-end edging processes. The base materials are high-quality ABS, PP, or PMMA. A 0.2 mm laser-responsive polymer layer is applied to the back of the material, and this layer is the key factor.

First, it requires no glue. Traditional edge banding uses hot-melt adhesive, but ours does not. In a products, a 1–3 kW laser is applied to activate the surface. The polymer layer melts within milliseconds and welds the edge band and the board together, forming a strong molecular bond similar to a "rivet-like" structure.

Second, after edging, there is no visible glue line. Traditional edge banding often leaves a glue line, but ours does not, resulting in a much cleaner and smoother appearance. The overall look is more high-end. The peel strength is very high, and the sealing performance is strong. The thermal expansion coefficients of the materials are well matched, which helps the product resist heat, moisture, and aging without cracking over time.

Third, it is environmentally friendly and contains no formaldehyde. It meets ENF and E0 environmental standards. It is suitable for high-end whole-house customization and light luxury furniture applications. The color is highly stable. Thickness ranges from 0.5 mm to 3 mm, making it compatible with high-end products.
