Key parameters include hardness (Shore A 30–80), tensile strength (≥5 MPa), and tear strength (≥15 kN/m). The selection of hardness requires balancing sealing performance with ease of operation: lower-hardness materials offer superior sealing but are prone to deformation, whereas higher-hardness materials exhibit greater wear resistance but require higher compressive forces. Grade 002 represents a specific formulation system, typically designed for general-purpose operating conditions; for applications requiring specialized properties (such as flame retardancy or electrical conductivity), users must consult with the manufacturer to request formulation adjustments. Dimensions and specifications are fully customized to meet user requirements, with no limitations imposed by fixed mold sizes.

Prior to installation, interface surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned to prevent oil stains or dust from compromising adhesion. For applications requiring bonding, specialized silicone adhesives or double-sided tapes may be used to facilitate secure attachment; conversely, when sealing relies solely on compressive force, the degree of compression during installation must be carefully controlled-excessive compression risks causing permanent material deformation, while insufficient compression compromises sealing integrity. During use, contact with sharp objects should be avoided to prevent scratching of the silicone surface; furthermore, prolonged exposure to strong acids or bases may accelerate material aging, necessitating the selection of an appropriate grade based on actual operating conditions.
